August 26th Stocking!
Everything just went live in the shop today. We have lots of goodies at excellent prices. And this time, there is plenty for even those who don't use cloth diapers. Don't forget to bid on the 2 auctions happening right now, these items are currently at a steal!

And we've decided that September will be "Surprise September!". So instead of a scheduled stocking date, we will be posting live items throughout the month as they are available. This may include FFS (free-for-shipping) items or other great discounts or sales. It should be fun!

Next Stocking July 29th!
Summer is well underway but we have our eyes on those fall/winter woolie stashes. It's nice to be prepared. :)
So on July 29th we'll be stocking a few more longies, perhaps with some matching cozy accessories like mittens or a hat.
Elaine has been super busy with customs, so stay tuned for some pictures of what she's working on. And here's a sneak peek at some longies for the 29th. These will be approximately a 12-18 month size:

A Custom
I (Rebecca) just finished up a pair of custom shorties. These were made for an adorably squishy little man who's the same age as my son (9 months), but outweighs him by about 10 pounds. :D
So the legs are flared a little to accommodate his chunckarific thighs and I added a side pocket. I'm a-wishin' for some action shots later!

New stocking coming up on July 8th! Plus it just happens to be Elaine's birthday!
We're starting to dive into longies at this point. We figure most people have their summer stash and is thinking ahead to the cooler weather. So watch for some sweet woolen pants in various sizes and don't forget our custom YYMN slots if you need something specific.
And I'm sure there will be some more FFS deals to be had. ;)

Getting Started
Why "TataTushies"?
Well the "tushies" part is obvious; our favourite projects with the hook or needles are diaper covers. Longies, shorties, soakers - lovely breathable wool products to be worn over your favourite fitted or prefold cloth diaper.
The "Tata" portion of our title is a play on the name of our hometown. We grew up beside each other (in the woods, on a dirt road) in the lovely little village of Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia. While we currently reside in a nearby town, our children still have a little "Tata" in their genes. ;)
We are in the beginning stages of our little business. We are creating up a storm so that our grand opening (date TBA) is a success. We're so excited to share our love of crafting with others around the web. We're aiming for quality handmade products that are affordable! One of the biggest turn-offs to using wool on your baby is the price. Longies can sometimes sell for upwards of $80! We're hoping you'll be able to try all of the products offered by TataTushies for MUCH less without sacrificing functinality or the cuteness factor.
Thanks for joining us!
